Our Full Builds are complete, ground-up conversions designed to transform a vehicle from its original (OEM) state into a fully customized, purpose-driven space. Whether it’s a campervan, mobile business, living quarters, or a sport-focused rig, we handle every aspect of the build from concept to completion.
These projects are highly tailored to each client and typically take 3–4 months to complete, depending on scope, size, and complexity. Most full builds fall within the $90,000–$150,000 range, with final cost driven by materials, systems, and custom features.
Full Builds are completed under a comprehensive contract and follow a structured payment schedule:
This process ensures a smooth, transparent build experience while allowing us to maintain the quality and attention to detail Coastal Conversions is known for.
Our Partial Builds are ideal for clients who don’t need a full conversion, but still want professional support for key phases of their project. Whether you're starting a build, upgrading existing systems, or reworking a layout, we offer flexible solutions tailored to your specific needs.
These projects can range from piecemeal build stages—such as electrical, windows, and exterior penetrations—to remodels and system overhauls, including electrical upgrades, HVAC additions, and significant interior or layout changes.
Partial Builds typically fall within the $20,000–$60,000 range, depending on scope and complexity, and can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks to complete.
These projects are completed under a defined scope of work and follow a simple payment structure:
Partial Builds offer the flexibility to move your project forward at your own pace, while still benefiting from the quality craftsmanship and expertise Coastal Conversions is known for.
Our Repairs & Upfits services are designed to enhance, restore, and expand the functionality of your vehicle—whether you’re adding new capabilities or addressing wear and tear from the road. From quick upgrades to more involved repairs, we approach every project with the same level of care and craftsmanship as our full builds.
These services commonly include:
We also handle a wide range of general repairs, from plumbing issues to cabinetry fixes and electrical troubleshooting. Most projects can be completed in a matter of hours to a few days, depending on scope.
Projects are typically quoted as a flat rate based on estimated labor and materials, and are completed under a simple 50/50 payment structure—half to begin work, with the balance due upon completion.
Because many of these needs are time-sensitive, we work to fit Repairs & Upfits into our schedule as efficiently as possible—helping you get back on the road quickly and with confidence.
Our Diagnostics & Consultations services are designed to help identify issues, provide clarity, and guide your next steps—whether you're troubleshooting a problem or planning a future build.
Diagnostics are typically focused on system performance, most commonly involving electrical issues such as failed batteries, unresponsive components, solar disconnects, or other critical system failures. While we primarily build with EcoFlow systems and highly recommend them for their reliability and integration, we are experienced in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of systems, including Victron and other less common setups. These services are billed hourly and invoiced upon completion, and often serve as the first step toward repairs or partial builds.
Consultations are also available for clients seeking professional guidance. These may include system training, recommendations for upgrades or repairs, and assistance with layouts or design direction. All new clients receive a complimentary introductory consultation along with one free 3D design and estimate for full or partial builds. In most cases, additional consultations are not billed, though extended or in-depth sessions—especially those tied to diagnostic findings—may be billed hourly as needed.
Whether you're resolving an issue or refining a vision, our goal is to provide clear, practical insight backed by real-world experience.
